When metal classroom chair feet move directly across hard flooring, they can create scraping sounds and leave scuffs or scratches. A tennis ball or purpose-built chair glide changes that contact point.

Schools have used tennis balls on chair legs for years because they are simple, familiar, and easy to replace. Precut balls remove the need for school staff to cut each ball by hand.
